We're back!
We have been away for awhile so this will be an update to what Luke has been doing. This year he has been attending Awanas at Bible Center Church in the 3 year old class called "Cubbies". He has really enjoyed it and has studied the entire book teaching about the bible. He has learned lots of songs and bible stories. At this point he probably knows more about it than I do! He has also attended preschool at Bible Center full time in Mrs. Carolyn's and Mrs. Joyce's class. He has made lots of friends this year and learned a lot. He only has two more weeks and then will be off for the summer. We have a few trips planned for the summer and of course his birthday in July. I hope all of you will continue to follow our blog to see what Luke will be up to this summer!

The Page family recently visited Norris, TN and my Brother-in-law Jon Gustin took some fantastic pictures of our visit. Thanks Jon for the great pics. Here is Luke partaking in his favorite activity, SWINGING. Can't you tell he is just loving this? We had such a great time in Norris and it had been way too long since we visited Jon and Diana in their beautiful home and town. We also went to the Knoxville Zoo and I am working on uploading all the Zoo pics this evening, look for the album to show up soon.
You can see a sneak peek if you scroll to the bottom, Luke was beside himself feeding the camels with Aunt Diane. Hopefully Dawn and I can put some more effort into this blog so that our out of town relatives can get the inside scoop and see Luke growing up. Miss you all!

End of preschool
Well today is Luke's end of year picnic for his preschool class. It's hard to believe how fast this school year went, it seems like just yesterday that he was starting preschool and now his first year is done. I will take some pictures today and hopefully PJ can help me post them up here for you all to see. As for the rest of his life, he is continuing to get speech therapy once a week through the WV Birth to Three program. He will continue to get those services until his 3rd birthday. He is making good progress and has begun saying lots of words and putting them together to say short phrases. He can say most of the words to the to the nursery rhyme Pat A Cake! He really wants to sing! I got him a CD set of children's songs, but unfortunately we can't listen to them in the car b/c he put pennies in my CD player and we can't use it. I asked the Hyundai dealership about this and they said it would be cheaper to buy a CD player at Circuit City to replace it. So I guess that will go on my list of things to replace when I get some extra funds.
For those of you who don't know, my nephew Andy is in China and is helping with the relief efforts for the earthquake victims. Please keep him in your prayers that he will be safe and help those in need and return home safely.
I'll try to post regularly to keep those of you who live out of town informed of what's going on with our family.
